Peter Barlas, as a Senior Portfolio Manager, manages the KJH Income Opportunities Fund, the KJH Opportunities Fund and the KJH Strategic Investors Fund, bringing over 20 years of investment industry experience to the role.

Earlier in his career, Peter worked at KPMG as a senior accountant where he developed a strong foundation in financial reporting, analysis and disciplined risk assessment, before moving into a finance role at Corby Distilleries. These early experiences provided him with a rigorous analytical framework and a practical understanding of corporate financial management that continue to inform his investment approach.

He joined KJ Harrison Investors in 2003 and served as Chief Investment Officer before joining forces with Harbourfront Wealth, where he continues in his role as Senior Portfolio Manager. Peter is committed to driving solid long-term risk adjusted rates of returns for clients and their families.

Peter holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey Business School, a Chartered Professional Accountant designation, and is a CFA® charterholder. Outside of the office, Peter and his wife Laura stay busy with their three children, often found at hockey rinks and on soccer fields.
